1969 Harley-Davidson “Captain America”

A 1960s Icon

“Captain America” was the Harley-Davidson chopper ridden by Peter Fonda in 1969’s Easy Rider. In the movie, Fonda and Dennis Hopper play two bikers who travel through the American Southwest and South in the late 1960s. A landmark counterculture film, the movie explores issues, and tensions towards adolescents in the United States during the 1960s hippie movement. There were two bikes used to film the movie and one has survived, (it is expected to sell for over $500,000 at auction) while the other one was destroyed in the final scene of the movie.

This replica is identical to “Captain America.” It runs and can be used for special promotions, events and commercial photoshoots. Be creative when you need something just a bit different than just a classic car. It is a legend and is one of the iconic symbols of the 1960s.
