After World War II, Jeep trademark owner, Willys, began producing a new sporty rear-wheel drive model. It had a dual personality for city and country driving. It was marketed at that time as “America’s greatest value in sports cars.” A limited number of Jeepsters were produced from 1948 to 1950.
