1965 Ford Mustang
The 1965 Mustang was one of the most successful vehicle launches by Ford. It was introduced at the New York World’s Fair on April 17, 1964. This highly styled line of sporty coupes was distinguished by “long hood, short deck” proportions. This first generation Mustang is the original popular “champagne beige” color.
The Mustang has appeared in thousands of films and television shows, it made its debut in Goldfinger, where one of the Bond girls drove a 1964 Ford Mustang. Probably the most famous car chase on the silver screen was with Steve McQueen in the 1968 movie, “Bullitt.” The epic 11-minute car chase through the winding streets and hills of San Francisco was with a Mustang fastback.
Although you can’t drive this beauty through San Francisco, it sure looks good in photos. We have an original “pony car” as a prop for your professional photo shoots or events. Or maybe just a bit of yesteryear to greet your guests as they enter your special event.
